As I was driving into town this morning I saw a rainbow, and it reminded me of the promise that God made to Noah (and the rest of the world) after the flood. Then I began to think of all the promises that He made to us in His word:
Joshua 1:5 - "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Psalm 136:1 - "His love endures forever"
Lamentations 3:22-23 - "Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
These are just to name a few. God has given us so many promises, all or which are surrounded by His love. Let's take time today to focus on His promises, knowing that He always wants the absolute best for us.
